In search of memories of home and hope for better days I mused over a box of nostalgic childhood photographs of me and my family. old memories had been dusted off and the celebration of gratitude and remembrance had started. I was grateful to have these rare moments documented, blossoming an Homage to Black Love. Dedicated to the true displays of black love rarely pictured in the world. Like an oasis of black love in a desert of hate and despair, many do not believe it at first. However, I created the collection for all to know the love oasis is real and very abundant.

Kendition reflects on her college youth, photographing the underground Detroit artists and friends. She creates her own view of this new world using her psychedelic art style.
